How to Detect eBlaster for a Mac

Mac computers can run eBlaster software.
There are different types of eBlaster software available for Mac operating systems that allow you to monitor the activity on a computer when you are the administrator. The software is often used by parents to block websites and receive activity reports on the websites their children are going to. If you're not sure if there is eBlaster software running on your computer you can detect if it is viewing your computer's activity on the Activity Monitor.

Instructions

1 Log in to your Mac computer. You should have administrator privileges to make sure you can access the hard drive files.

2 Click on the "Macintosh HD" icon on your desktop and then click on the "Application" folder. Look through your applications to find any eBlaster software that has been installed.

3 Click on the "Utilities" folder. Click on the "Activity Monitor" and then the "Activity Monitor" window will appear.

4 Click on the "Process Name" option to make all of the monitored programs appear in alphabetical order. Look for any eBlaster software in the window and then click on it.

5 Click on the "Inspect" button from the top on the window. Click on the "Statistic" button to see all of the statistics concerning the eBlaster software running on your computer.
